Utah!!

So sorry I haven't posted in a while. We were in Utah last Monday and this is what happened.
We visited Salt Lake City, and of course the Great Salt Lake. We saw the Mormon Tabernacle and the burial site of Brigham Young.
We also visited the Golden Spike National Monument. We walked a trail that showed us where the two railroads competed to get a government contract. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the two locomotives they keep at the park yearly. We watched volunteers work on the trains, and the amount of work was astounding.
We stayed in a small town that had an amazing cafe next door. Their version of a scone took up a whole plate!
Everywhere we went we saw snow and deer. Had fun in Utah!!
