Snow and Freezing Temperatures

So for the past few days we have been trying to avoid the really bad cold front in Montana. We made it to Wyoming, but still had to keep going south. On Friday night we hunkered down in Laramie, Wyoming. When we woke up the next morning it was freezing and there was snow everywhere.I actually had to go by a heavier coat.
The snow began to melt, then we reached a new problem: ice. Last night there was a wind chill of 8 degrees! Today we have a windchill of -7 degrees! We have to go to Utah, because this afternoon Laramie is getting winds up to 45 miles per hour. Still trying to escape the cold and bad weather.
