Pawnee Rock, KS

Pawnee Rock was a half way point of the Santa Fe Trail. Many settlers who passed signed their names. Soon the rocks were almost completely covered. I got to climb around and find signatures. The earliest one I could identify was: F. Henderson 1894. I also got to climb up a spiral staircase and get a view of what the settlers might have saw, and it was breathtaking.
